South and Central America Cruises

Introduction to South and Central America Cruises

This region offers a diverse range of expedition cruises; from the warmth of the Caribbean Sea and Costa Rica and the Panama Canal to glaciers and fjords of Patagonia in southern Chile.  In between the two extremes you have the unique Galapagos Islands and cruises along the Amazon River or it’s tributaries in Ecuador, Peru and Brazil.

Some expedition cruises are dedicated to a relatively small region, like Patagonia, or the Amazon, other longer cruises combine several destinations, e.g. Costa Rica and Panama. For the Galapagos, Patagonia and Amazon we have included some information on this site. For in-depth information we’ll take you to our specialist South America site, simply as if you’re looking for a cruise in the Amazon, Galapagos or Chilean Fjords it’s unlikely that’s all you’ll do and our 25 years of experience in tailor-made holidays in South America means we are well placed to create a complete holiday for you; including the expedition cruise but also all of your flights and any other accommodation or touring requirements.
